php includes

Hi

If I create an include using images and include that include on every page 
then forsome reason the images no not show in either design or preview mode. 
However if I view the include in design view or preview mode the images show 
up. I'm using a local host test server on Vista ultimate.

When I upload it to the public server I'm told that the images are not 
visable yet they are on several PC's I've tested on.

Has anyone any ideas why ???
