okay, I once again have everything screwed up. newbie question: do you need to go through the terminal when using the mysql administrator. I have mysql 5 running at the start up. Now when I try to connect with the mysql administrator I get a connection error: Could not connect to MySql instance at localhost. Error: Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost'. Before I started screwing around with the terminal I could at least get connected with that. I'm not even sure what to do next. I tried re-installed the mysql admin, but it left the old settings already in there???:brokenheart;:mad;:disgust;:confused; |
