There is also the Velleman K8055 board (http://www.vellemanusa.com/us/enu/product/view/?id=500349) and an xtra that goes with it: http://blog.gepatto.nl/downloads/ I never tried that one though
I tested the Velleman with DLL Glue with success. Takes some getting into how to call the DLL functions etc. but its OK. I can imagine a "regular Xtra" would be easier.
Not to push a friends company, but http://www.bluesense.nl/ has the hardware too. Used it a bit with Flash, OSC/flosc (http://www.benchun.net/flosc) and the XML socket. I can imagine you can cook up some communication with Director one way or the other.
