It would be truly bizarre if a product owned by Adobe would need a commercial third party xtra to import PDF - a file format which Adobe promotes loud and proud and seems to suggests using it for everything everywhere... It could be a nod to long time Director supporter and xtra developer company Integration New Media (INM) however, to let them have some cash back from their efforts. A better solution for the developer would be to pay INM a fee for integrating their xtra into the starndard release. I use the PDF features provided by INM quite a lot; it's excellent stuff. |
