You'll have to wait and see when Director is available to download what the
features mean in real terms. Your interpreation of the features is going beyond
what is stated in the product page. The main Director page and the Features
does not give an enormous amount of information. Something like "Support for
than 40 video, audio, and image file formats" is very general. It does not
what new formats are supported that id did not before, DVD video support has
available with the last version and Director 11 won't be able to author DVDs
you can play on a TV in a standard DVD player. If this was a new feature, we'd
more about it on the features page, but it just gets a brief mention.
Hope that is helpful. To get a more detailed answer on what Director 11 actually
does or does not do, you'll need to wait a little longer. Anyone who was
with beta testing the product so has seen Director 11 in action, is bound by a
Nondiscolsure Agreement. Even Adobe staff are bound by restrictions on what
information can be disclosed and when..
