I actually copied the newer Shockwave Flash Asset Xtra and placed it in my 
Director Xtra's folder.  Then I ran the program on Windows Vista and the 
program didn't crash anymore.  :)

 So whatever Adobe fixed in the newer version seems to help it work on Windows 
Vista.
