If you?re using 3rd party xtras I?d temporarily eliminate them and add them 
back in one at a time to see if they?re the culprit. I know INM?s Impressario 
Xtra for displaying PDFs can slow down startup if you improperly use a separate 
instance of the xtra in your cast for multiple PDFs (a portable version of 
Acrobat Reader is copied into the user?s temp folder at startup for every 
instance, 10 copies = about 60 second startup).
