10.4.11 - but I can't imagine that it's an OS problem... Director has been 
working flawlessly on this machine up until now.  I've rebooted several times.  
I'm thinking that perhaps somehow the Director installation has been corrupted. 
 My last resort (which may be close) is to reinstall.
