wrong link for connection?

I have a user who is using Contribute to edit their site. No matter what I've 
tried, the "begin editing my webpage" link is showing the wrong link. I 
couldn't locate WHERE to change it either. On the webserver I found an xml file 
under the _mm folder, which showed that wrong link, so I manually edited that 
file and re-created the connection, but the result is still the same.

 Can anyone help please?
