Contribute Updating problems

Hi, I hope someone can help I have a Contribute User who cannot update images 
or links.  He can update text. on both our test ing server or our live server.  
Does anyone have any ideas:  When we look at the site.  The live page has this: 
MMWIP within the link.  It is obviously connectted to Contribute locally.  But 
Why?  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks
