Export Settings

Newsgroups: macromedia.coldfusion.server_administration 

I am currently working on updating from Coldfusion 6.1 to Coldfusion 8. Both 
are Standard editions.  From all the documentation I've found is it really not 
possible to import/export settings from one to the other?  Can anyone give me 
some better information regarding this?
