Installing Coldfusion MX to remote hosting server

Hi,

 We have recently purchased a dedicated server from a remote provider. We have 
a ColdFusion MX CD which we have uploaded to that server via FTP and we wish to 
install the program. However, when we click on "setup.exe" it does not do 
anything (it just fails). 

 I'm assuming there is some kind of special instructions you must follow to do 
this, can anybody point me in the right direction?
