I guess I don't agree to couple of the statements made here,which is my opinion.

 According to me Coldfusion is not dead .Adobe is never going to let that 
happen.
 I still get my paychecks because of CF:-)cool;
 Apart from this ASP.NET Vs CF 
 For me CF is the best .
 ASP.net is too complicated ....
