Re: CF8 and MS SQL 2000

I am having the same exact problem. I am frunning CF8 with MSSQL 2000 SP4. I 
cannot get a MSSQL  data source set up. I get the following error:

 Connection verification failed for data source: Test_SQL
 java.sql.SQLException: [Macromedia][SQLServer JDBC Driver]Error establishing 
socket to host and port: 127.0.0.1:1433. Reason: Connection refused: connect
 The root cause was that: java.sql.SQLException: [Macromedia][SQLServer JDBC 
Driver]Error establishing socket to host and port: 127.0.0.1:1433. Reason: 
Connection refused: connect.

 Is Microsoft SQL 2000 not compatible with Coldfusion 8?
