I'm running Coldfusion 8 and Oracle XE 10, both on IIS 7. Every so often, I get this message: [Macromedia][Oracle JDBC Driver][Oracle]ORA-12519 The listener could not find any available service handlers that are appropriate for the client connection. One possible cause for this error is that the server was not configured for the specified server type (shared/dedicated). I can restart the OracleServiceXE service and it works fine. However, I have no clue what is causing this. I believe it all began once I started using CFSCRIPTS and running queries using that instead of CFML. Would anyone know what COULD cause this error to happen and what I should look out for? I am new to Oracle and CF btw. Also, I can access it fine through the oracle homepage, but when I attempt to connect to it from the coldfusion administrator, it cannot establish a connection to that data source. It is only after I restart the service that things go back to normal. Thanks. Ryan |
