In CF8 is it possible to send information back to a control (cfwindow, cfdiv etc ) based on a event triggered on the server? To clearify, Say I have a scheduled job that checks a DB for a entry every 10 minutes and I want to send results of that query to the clients without the clients refreshing pages. Think along the lines of the hand dandy NET SEND command in widows only in CF :-). Is that possible if so, how? Thanks |
