CFgridcolumn and hrefkey

when I use the cfgrid/cfgridcolumn, I want to set the cfgridkey value to the 
current row value for a column so when a user clicks on the column/row - they 
are taken to the location of href's value with the cfgridkey that would result 
from hrefkey's value, yet I alway seem to get a comma delimited list of all the 
row values. I'm using CF8 and the "html" format of cfgrid.  Any pointers to 
using the cfgridcolumn's hrefkey parameter would be greatly appreciated.
