lvs (http://www.linuxvirtualserver.org/) is a good solutions, and it 
also scale very well to big numbers (of users/pages and servers too).

if you want you may use more instance of lvs, one to balance the 
proxies, one for the apache and another for the mysql.

you will get better balancing then dns roundrobin and more availability 
as if one server goes down then the balancer can automatically put it 
out of the balancing.
