I installed a new Kernel for i386: In Section 8.5.1. Kernel Image Management you write: Now, compile the kernel: fakeroot make-kpkg --revision=custom.1.0 kernel_image. This Kernel didn't boot. After some research I found the solution: Now, compile the kernel: fakeroot make-kpkg --initrd --revision=custom.1.0 kernel_image. I discovered that many users have the same problem, but no solution. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-doc-REQUEST@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
