Loading ipw3945 driver locks second cpu core when loading driver. I am running Debian Etch with vanilla 2.6.19.1 (smp) kernel on HP nc6320 laptop.
This bug has been confirmed and fixed in newest version of the driver. (http://bughost.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1096)
