Package: apt-listbugs
Version: 0.0.69
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
*** Please type your report below this line ***
For a few weeks now apt-listbugs keeps giving the following output when
executed through aptitude (the sample below was executed from command
line but the output is identical):
$ LC_ALL=C /usr/sbin/apt-listbugs list apache2
Reading package fields... Done
Reading package status... Done
Retrieving bug reports... 0% W: unclosed token
Error retrieving bug reports
Retry downloading bug information?[Y/n]? n
Abort the installation[Y/n]?
... E: Exiting with error
It used to work perfectly until recently.
It appears that it only gives this error when there are actual bugs
about the package.
Exactly the same version works perfectly on an virtually identical
system (a Debian Etch which is updated almost every day) connected
through a different network provider and using a different set of
mirrors.
