Bug#385499: Random segfaults in NNTP mode

Severity: normal

Hi, I recently switched to mutt-ng in order to get NNTP support in my
mailer. It's been working great, except that I get random segfaults from
time to time when browsing newsgroups. I've not been able to find a
precise sequence of events that reproduces this, but it seems to be
related to syncing the news box and downloading new headers from the
server. Often, when I hit $ to sync deleted messages, mutt-ng would
segfault. Also, once in a while, when I return from the pager to the
index, mutt-ng tries to sync with the server and either segfaults or
just hangs.

None of these problems occur outside NNTP mode.
