Bug#363967: How do I install ipw3945?

I see a number of posted packages that are supposed to help get 
ipw3945 to work.  Which packages do I download?  What do they 
depend on?  How do I install them until the official drivers come 
out?  When the official drivers come out how do I install them since
they look like they are only source?  Thanks.
