It's not supposed to depend on any specific alternative - although the
current alternative needs to provide the required bits. AFAIK all 1.4.2
alternatives do. What alternative did you have selected?

"Extras" don't ship with the OS media, but are easily accessed with yum.
"$ yum kawa" will do the trick for FC5. So we can update the FC5 extras
kawa package at any time.
