Re: Build and install GCC-3.2.3

Thanks alot again. I was helping one of a developer to build and
install this old gcc. Also, Should I copy the whole file and name to
"patch"?

So the steps should be like this?

1) cd /usr/local/src
2) tar zxf gcc-3.2.3.tar.gz
3) cd ..
4) mkdir gcc-3.2.3
5) cd gcc-3.2.3
6) ../src/gcc-3.2.3/configure --prefix=/usr/local/gcc-3.2.3/
7) patch -p0 < <patchfile>
8) make
9) make install
