Hi, I'm running Emacs on OSX 10.4 in Terminal. Every time I create a new file using C-x C-f the owner is "system" and not my user, so the files become read-only! I'm not running with sudo or su, so I'm not quite sure why this is happening. I'd like emacs to automatically save the files under my user account. Any help with this is much appreciated. Thanks Iain |
