Hi. We're currently using CVS and developing using only the HEAD. Our code is now in production. What we'd like to do is create a gold copy of the production code every time we deploy, so we can always go back to it. Now, development has continued using HEAD only. So if some of the files on dev and qa for example are on revision 1.5 or 1.6, production files are still using revision 1.2. Is branching the right move for this? Is it too late to branch using the version of the files on production? Any ideas on how we might go about it would be great. Thanks. -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Branching-From-Older-File-Revisions-tp18717953p18717953.html Sent from the Gnu - Cvs - Info mailing list archive at Nabble.com. |
