Hi.

cvs-1.11.23, macosx 10.5.3

I have been using cvs happily for many years and now find a problem  
that is new to me.

I can create a file and add it with "cvs add doubles.Rd" no problem.


But then  "cvs commit -m "new doc file" doubles.Rd

gives this:

cvs [commit aborted]: received abort signal

What's going on here?
