I like this. Sometimes the command line isn't even available,
or 1000 miles, a management hierarchy and a language away.
Perhaps there could be a default ELF implementation that could
output it to a .note or .comment section?
Certainly, I will add that.
Originally I was using a .note section in my MN10300 implementation but
I discovered that GAS complained about giving such a section MERGE and
STRING attributes. I was not sure why, but rather than dig into the
problem I just changed the name to .gcc-command-line. I can easily
change it back though and investigate why GAS does not like it.
