About:
HDF (Hierarchical Data Format) is a general purpose library and file format
for storing scientific data. It arranges data into datasets
(multidimensional arrays) and groups (a structure for organizing objects).
 

Changes:
H5L link APIs have been added. A header corruption bug has been fixed.
Library testing capabilities have been extended, and testing of shared
libraries has been fixed. Controls have been added to configuration.
