Blitz JavaSpaces 1.26 Pure Java Edition
by Dan Creswell (http://freshmeat.net/~dancres/)
Mon, Jul 17th 2006 07:55
About:
Blitz is an open source JavaSpaces implementation designed to ease
development and deployment of JavaSpaces technology. It is Jini 2.0
enabled, and uses established VM principles. It also implements smart
indexing, tuneable persistence, and active/passive lease cleanup. It is
designed with experimentation and expansion in mind.
Changes:
A force option was added to the SyncAndShutdown tool to effect shutdown in
the presence of active transactions. A problem where remote calls could be
refused after a failed cleanup due to active transactions was fixed. A
ConcurrentModificationException which could occur when aborting all
currently active transactions was fixed. Logging of notify-related event
delivery failures was improved to assist in debugging.
Release focus: Minor feature enhancements

Ever wonder why HP has seven consecutive years of Linux market share
Maybe it's our portfolio of best-of-breed partner products, or
HP value-add in management, high availability, and virtualization. Maybe
it's the integrated, consolidated infrastructure of HP BladeSystem,
single-source accountability and solution support from HP Services in 160
countries, or just our unwavering commitment to the open source
community.
