/etc/sysconfig/nfs is checked.  You can things like:

RPCNFSDCOUNT
MOUNTD_PORT
STATD_PORT
STATD_OUTGOING_PORT

You have to set the NLM ports in modprobe.conf or on the kernel
command line.
