Hello,

Hope this is appropriate. I cannot find anything about this searching
the web. It seems that this should work on my machine.

Tried to install 4.3 from CD image onto a PowerMac AGP G4 with
PowerLogix/Freescale processor upgrade to 7447A (Revision 0x101) I get a
panic and cannot proceed beyond the initial attempt to load the bsd.rd.
I do not know how to get the panic message off my machine, I have no
floppy support and no network up on this before panic. At the prompt
after the panic message, the computer is no longer responsive so I
cannot run ps or trace as it suggests.

It panics at :
pciide0: using irq 53 for native-PCI interrupt
pciide0: couldn't map channel 0 cmd regs
panic: trap type 200 at 102c74 (wdcprobe+0x78) lr 102c74
Stopped at Dubugger+0x10: lwz r-,20(r1)
007d867c: skip_cf+-x2800 fp 8765b0 nfp 8765c0

Several more lines. Is this helpful? Is there a way to grab the entire
panic message?

Thanks for any suggestions.
