I think you have a slightly skewed perspective; Linux distros in
general are at least moderately secure, OpenBSD is just absurdly
secure. :P

If you're completely insane, you can try Gentoo on that machine like I
did. Nothing like waiting a whole week with a CPU temperature >98C for
KDE to compile. :)

In theory, that would help, as both OpenBSD and NetBSD use modified
versions of the same kernel. I'd be willing to fiddle further with the
kernel, but my own Wallstreet recently passed away, so I can no longer
help.
