Your patch does not work
Sounds like the preprocessor #defines should look like the following

#if defined(__i386__)
#if NNPX > 0
        npxsave_cpu(true);
#endif
#else
        fpusave_cpu(true);
#endif

instead of just

#if defined(__i386__) && NNPX > 0
        npxsave_cpu(true);
#else
        fpusave_cpu(true);
#endif

The same applies for the other case.

I checked this and it worked fine
