Historically incorrect, however.
Nearly every able bodied, trustworthy male Reich patriot had a firearm,
excluding those who were known communists, pinkos, perverts, radicals and
the sort, the majority of whom were identified Jews ( nothing -much- ever
really changes, you know ;-).
The patriots actually made a fairly good effort of protecting Berlin, for
several days before its fall and these were only the leftovers, including
males from around age 14 to 80, who were not particularly well trained, or
equipped. Quite a few of them died in the battle, as well.
Also, according to some of the emerging documentation, there is likely to
have been a few hidden, allied Jews within the battling patriot mix!
