I'm in agreement here! As a "white male" who may or may not look like a drug
addict (depending upon what section of the Harley seat you occupy) I know
from first hand experiance the bite these illegal aliens take out of our
pockets. I am vision impaired. Just enough sight left to handle a pick fork
but not enough to work in my old capacity as a mechanical engineer or a
flooring service technician (my last two careers). So to make ends meet I
went to work for a couple of east coast priggs that had moved down south
from Mass. and NY to NC. Spoiled young brats who have probably known want
but never need. I busted my ass for them and took the paltry sum they gave
me in return because even that was better then living on the welfare roles
and sacrificing my self respect. I've lived my whole life believing that an
honest days work and a sense of having done it to the best of one's ability
was better then any sleeping pill or other crutch to get to sleep at night.
Then one day they moved in a hispanic. All of a sudden I was the one who had
the attitude. Every conversation became a potential confrontation. To be
honest towards the end I didnt really give much of a damn. So after they
screwed up the satalite television reception I was paying fifty bucks a
month for and tried to get me to let the new guy enjoy espanol tv in his
room on my dime I made up my mind that I wasnt going to put up with it
anymore. One day the fellow who owned the place called me out of a stall to
have a "talk" just as I was about to cut a bag of shavings open. So I kept
my knife opened and in my hand. Had I been the piece of shit they were
treating me like, someone would've been left bleeding that day. Instead I
told them that they had done for me the one thing that I never would've
dreamed was possible, they made it so that money was no longer that
important to me. Thier lifestyle of pampered megalomainia opened my eyes and
I began to see that no matter who cares, the rich and politically gifted
will do as they damn well please. If you think I'm wrong then try and figure
out what happened to the INS. They had a name and focus change. They no
longer seek to inforce immagration and they say so in thier deeds (or lack
thereof) and press releases. So just who is the criminals? The wet back
looking to better his future and send American capitol back home to his wife
and family, whilst pitching poop and washing pets? Or folks like Steven and
JoAnn Loheac who only worry about the fun and enjoyment the next day holds
in store for them?
I've been lurking on this newsgroup off and on for a couple of years now and
I have to agree with this thread in some part. Yet I also believe that we
should move the discussion to a more aprapho NG and leave these recreators
to thier blissfull endeavors. Poor hiker wants to be left alone with his/her
dilussions (not a fellow Iowian I hope)
