nrg2iso: two bugs are reported against nrg2iso by Debian users
Tue, 18 Nov 2008 11:59:23 +0100
I'm the current maintainer of nrg2iso's Debian package .
Even if your latest released version of nrg2iso seems quite old, many
Debian users are still using it: more than 1200 installation are
registered (see )!
Two bugs have been reported on your program. They are:
1. nrg2iso processes non-iso content
2. nrg2iso doesn't check if the image is an NRG file
In the provided links, you'll find some additional discussion and
information on these bugs.
My question is very simple: do you foresee to tackle these bugs and
try to release a new version of nrg2iso?
Thanks for your answer and for providing such a software :-)
ps: please keep all addresses in CC.
ps2: For your information, another free software is offering more or
less the same functionality of nrg2iso. It is called 'iat' but is
less popular in Debian than nrg2iso. Maybee its source code might
interest you ;-)
