Subject: Netrw's handling of symlinked directories
From: James Vega

Charles,

Netrw gets confused with symlinks to directories and the listing of
files under such a symlinked directory. Here's a quick example to
demonstrate the problem:

  $ mkdir directory
  $ touch directory/file
  $ ln -s directory link
  $ vim .

Netrw displays:

  directory/
  link/

Browse to directory/ and there is:

  file

Browse to link/ and there is:
