Bug#368008: postfix-gld: Enable Postgres support fwd
Fri, 19 May 2006 11:06:33 +0200 CEST
I received this from the Debian bug system.
Some time ago I sent you a patch for gld so that it supports both
MySQL and PostgreSQL at the same time, via a run-time configuration option.
[ The patch was created by one of my students ].
Do you have the patch around, or would you like me to resubmit it?
The Debian source package currently has a patch to be applied by hand
for PostgreSQL, but this is clearly suboptimal, as supporting
both databases using a run-time variable would be much better.

Subject: Bug#368008: postfix-gld: Enable Postgres support
Upstream postfix-gld supports Postgres as well as MySQL, but only as a
compile-time option. I'm switching to postgres from mysql so I'd love a
separate package with pgsql support enabled, or even better, both in 1
