Betreff: Bug#332578: less: Double wide character is displayed twice in
search command
Datum: Fri, 07 Oct 2005 10:02:31 +0300

Package: less
Version: 391-1
Severity: normal

When a double wide character (for example U+30B7 KATAKANA LETTER SI) is
inserted to less's search command, the character is displayed twice.
I think "less" thinks there is only one character but it just displays
two. Probably because of this the backspace key does not work correctly.
