severity 310268 wishlist

you might want to consider the problem about the error messages not
going to a visible place. I'll worry about the rest.

Subject: Bug#310268: gjay: should recommend vorbis-tools?
X-Mailer: reportbug 3.11

Package: gjay
Severity: minor

I would suggest this package to recommend this vorbis-tools because
the program does not make much sense without them (except for
pure playlist generation perhaps...). Additionally I had a hard=20
time finding out why gjay didn't analyze my music files because=20
the complaint about missing ogg123 went to the command line=20
which was not visible for me (this could also be called a wishlist
for GUI error messages).
Additionally it complained about missing mpg321 though I had=20
mpg123 installed. I checked this, and it refuses to analyse=20
songs without mpg321.

Greetings Ben
