As noted on http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=295984
cl-png is not compatible with sbcl's unicode. sb-unicode is picky
about trying to stuff arbitrary octets into strings.

If so you have time, perhaps you'd like to work on modifying the code
to be more ANSI CL compliant.
