Here is bug which was reported against websvn, concerning files
types handling.

----- Forwarded message from Jan Albiez <[email protected]> -----

Subject: Bug#280432: websvn: Mime-Type support is strange

Package: websvn
Severity: normal

This is more or less an upstream bug, but since the webpages of
websvn are nearly useless, I report it here:

The mime-type assignment is a bit strange. MOst of the types
referenced in the contentType array in setup.inc are binary or "kind-of"
binary types (images, cad drawings eg.) which you surely don't want to
have handled via enscript and where a diff and/or a blame is
questionable. But why is there something in it like application/x-tex
for .tex files? And why does an assignment in this arry means, that i
don't get the nice web-page anymore? You know the one, where i can klick
on blame, diff to previous version etc.
I have commented out the line concerning tex, and now I have a
beautiful, colored version of the file, like everybody expects when
looking on a pure-text file (as tex is).

So, the bug is:
Get tex files handled properly

A whishlist item is:
Handle the mime-types correct or give the user a chance to configure it.

BTW.: To write a line like
$contentType[".tex"] = "plain/text";
in include/config.inc (like suggested in this file) doesn't help at all

The websvn version I use is 1.61 (debian packet 1.61-5)

blue skies
