I have OPTIONS="-u defaultuser" in /etc/default/spamass-milter, yet
user config is ignored. Filtering by spamc via ~/.procmailrc works
fine. May be this is because I use LDAP user database.

The -u option specifies the default user to choose when spamass-milter
can't figure out what user it should be run as. It doesn't do per-user filtering.

Then the default /etc/default/spamass-milter is confusing (and so the man page is). One sees this comment there:

# Default, use per user settings
OPTIONS="-u defaultuser"

It doesn't do per-user filtering. [That's always on by default.]

Well, here, it is NOT.

Evgeny
