I have not yet asked Andreas Tille (sponsor for the previous
version 2.4.6) or a new sponsor to upload the package, because
of extreme lack of time until next wednesday.  Sorry for it.
Is this an "implicite" asking for sponsoring or do you want to
close the new bug report with the upload and do something else
on the package.  If you have big time constraints I could include
this "Closes: #<bugnumber>" in the changelog and upload ...
