okay, that's not quite what this person is asking for as i understood
it, but i could be wrong. yes, that is true enough, you can see now what
file transfers you have offered, but you still can't _not_ send the
offer to transfer it if you accidentally drop some file on a buddy. that
is, the instant you drop it (allowing for cpu & network delays), even as
the file transfer dialog pops up, a dialog pops up on your friend's
screen asking if [s]he wants to accept the file. ideally this wouldn't
be the case. ideally, given the ease of accidentally dropping a dragged
file on the buddy list somewhere, or in the conversation window for that
matter, a dialog would pop up saying "You are about to transfer xyz to
abc..." the sort of confirmation dialog people complain about, but in
this case preventing people from accidents in a ui that, while popular,
makes accidents easy.
