Bob first thing to do: do you have configured the firewall to allow related, established traffic? As soon as you give the right password the linux box is going to change from port 22/tcp to another free port, if the ADSL router doesnt forward related connections you are not going to succeed ever.. check the firewall setting on your dsl box and check if that sshd supports tcp forwarding. |
