Make sure you are using the latest version of dtp.  The starkit from the
sdarchive is years out of date.

dtp is provided with ActiveTcl 8.4 - it is in the folder
/demos/TclApps/apps/dtp

This folder includes instructions for building your own starkit dtp.kit -
you will also need to download the source of Tcllib.

I don't know if there are plans to distribute dtp with either ActiveTcl 8.5
or the teapot archive; the teapot has the application dtplite but I have
not tried it.
