Hi all I am a student in China. I am doing some experiment on system backup things. And i met some problems that confused me. I copy files, most of the files in system root directory, to another partition of the disk to make a second OS. The current situation i am in is that I can boot up the computer with some low level of UI abnormals, which can be acceptable. But when i hide the former system partition from DPT(Disk Partition Table), the second OS cannot boot up. It handed up when loading personal statistics. But i copy the documents and settings too. And it seems that the OS is still loading the files from C:\. What can i do? can i make the second OS independent absolutely? Wish to talk about this with you. Thanks. Regards Orlando Sun |
